The Walk

  1. Follow the path along the cliff’s edge. The path offers fantastic views of the Irish Sean and out to the Atlantic. You’ll see plenty of seabirds, and it you’re lucky, a porpoise or seal in the water below.
  2. The path is dusty and has some protruding rocks. The trail is well-maintained but can be uneven in places, so sturdy footwear is a good idea. The path also undulates as it follows the cliffs which means that there are a few hills to climb.
  3. Bishop’s and Clerk can be seen from the path. These two prominent sea stacks rise dramatically out of the water, a popular feature of this part of the coastline.
  4. The path will take you around a headland with sweeping views of the surrounding coastline, including St Davids Head and further along the cliffs.
  5. You’ll pass over some rocky outcrops in the path and then the path becomes more sandy as you near Porthlysgi.
