Welcoming you to our comfortable Porthlysgi Apartment

Our well equipped and comfortably furnished apartment Porthlysgi, is the perfect home from home base from which to discover all that Pembrokeshire has on offer.

Named after one of Wales’ most westerly beaches, Portlysgi, is a wonderfully remote and sheltered shingle cove on the South West of St Davids Peninsula which can only be accessed by walking either the coastal path or inland footpaths. Lysgi comes from the name of a warrior who is reputed to have landed here from Ireland and who killed the local Celtic Chieftain. Porth is Welsh for harbour and although there are no harbour facilities this sheltered cove can provide a tranquil place to swim (however beware as there are no lifeguards here).

Furnished with comfort and quality in mind, the sofa and armchairs in the separate lounge will provide you with a relaxing environment after busy days adventuring and exploring the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast. You can operate your gas central heating to suit your needs, allowing for a really cosy warm apartment especially in colder winter months. A separate well equipped kitchen with farmhouse style seating for all, allows you to enjoy family meals and takeaways from the many venues on your doorstep. Its high street location is so convenient for shops and pubs and bus stops just around the corner, all just minutes away. Our comfortable mattresses and double glazing will assist a good night’s sleep.

Your Apartment

First Floor:

Access to your first floor apartment is up one flight of stairs from the ground level and our tranquil paved courtyard which has established shrubs and flowerbeds. You will have access to communal patio tables and chairs which are available to all of our guests.

Enter into the hallway from a first floor level balustrade overlooking the centrally located courtyard.

As this is a dog friendly apartment it has no carpets on the first floor throughout and a solid wood flooring for thorough cleaning.

Turn right off the hall for the kitchen/diner – electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, dining table to seat 4

Straight ahead down the hall for the lounge – 1 sofa, 2 arm chairs, smart TV, DVD player, CD/radio player

Turn left in the hallway for the carpeted staircase to the second floor which has carpeted bedrooms.

Second Floor:

Double bedroom (courtyard side)– double bed, built in wardrobe and drawer units, dressing table, velux windows, hairdryer

Twin bedroom – twin beds, built in wardrobe and drawer units,

Bathroom – bath with overhead shower, WC, washbasin

Double glazed and quiet even though some rooms overlook the highstreet which is quiet at night

Parking

Portlysgi has its own parking bay in our carpark to the rear of the property

Local Facilities

Shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep

Carfai beach is a 20minute walk from our apartments or a 5 minute drive

Whitesands beach is a 10 minute drive

Portlysgi is an hour or two’s walk depending whether you opt for the coastal or inland footpaths and lanes. There is no public parking here.
