Our well equipped and comfortably furnished apartment Solfach, is the most perfect home from home base from which to discover all that Pembrokeshire has on offer.

Solfach is named after the Welsh name for Solva, an idyllic harbour village, just 3 ½ miles South of St Davids. The village is split into upper and lower Solva by a steep hill. Lower Solva has a narrow river valley which winds down to its harbour, set in a glacial meltwater channel with rocks which contain fossils from the Cambrian age. This popular boating and crabbing spot of today was the main trading centre of St Bride’s Bay in the medieval period. Between upper and lower Solva there are several pubs, cafés, restaurants, galleries and shops. There is limited parking in the summer but it is serviced well by local buses so it makes for the perfect coastal walk, lunch out and bus ride home to your apartment.

Furnished with comfort and quality in mind, the sofa and armchairs in the lounge area will provide you with a relaxing environment after busy days adventuring and exploring the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast. A well equipped kitchenette with farmhouse style seating allows you to enjoy meals and takeaways from the many venues on your doorstep. Its location is so convenient for shops and pubs and bus stops, all just around the corner, just minutes away. Our comfortable mattresses and double glazing will assist a good night’s sleep.

Your Apartment

All Ground Floor:

Access to your ground floor apartment is through patio sliding doors which have tinted glass and curtains for privacy from the central and shared, tranquil paved courtyard, which has established shrubs and flowerbeds. You also have a patio table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining or relaxation.

This apartment is not dog friendly and is carpeted throughout with exception of the kitchen area which is lino and bathroom which is tiled.

The front door opens into the lounge area of your open plan apartment – 1 sofa, 2 armchairs, smart TV, DVD player, CD/radio player. Beyond this the dining area has a farmhouse style table and bench seating and the kitchen area is well equipped and spacious with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer. Twin bedroom – twin single beds bed, built in wardrobe and drawer units, dressing table, hairdryer.

Solva has its own parking bay in our carpark to the rear of the property.

Solva is a ten minute drive or theres a year round bus route or its a beautiful couple of hours walk on the coastal path
