Our well equipped and comfortably furnished apartment Abercastell , is the most perfect home from home base from which to discover all that Pembrokeshire has on offer.

Named after the picturesque, north Pembrokeshire cove of Abercastell, a sheltered little muddy sand and shingle beach with a slip-way which is a great harbour for boats, kayakers and divers alike (launching fees apply). Known affectionately by locals, in busier sea faring days gone by as ‘Cwm Badau’ (bay of boats). Overlooking the beach is an island called ‘Ynys y Castell’ which means Castle Island which is where the beach gets its name. Just inland of the beach is Carreg Sampson, an impressive ancient burial chamber. There is very limited parking here and the single lane access can get congested in busy summer months however it is on a coastal bus route in the summer.

Furnished with comfort and quality in mind, the sofa and armchairs in the open plan lounge area provide you with a relaxing environment after busy days adventuring and exploring the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast. You can operate your gas central heating to suit your needs, allowing for a really cosy warm apartment, especially in colder winter months. A well-equipped kitchenette with an open plan dining area to seat all, allows you to enjoy family meals and takeaways from the many venues on your doorstep. Its high street location is so convenient for shops and pubs and bus stops just round the corner, all just minutes away. Our comfortable mattresses and double glazing will assist a good night’s sleep.

Your Apartment

First Floor:

Access to your first floor apartment is up one flight of stairs from the ground level and our tranquil paved courtyard which has established shrubs and flowerbeds. You will have access to communal patio tables and chairs which are available to all of our guests.

Enter into the hallway from a first floor level balustrade overlooking the centrally located courtyard.

This apartment is not dog friendly and is carpeted throughout with exception of the kitchen which is lino and bathroom which is tiled.

Straight through the hall is the kitchen area on the right – electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer.

Continue ahead for the open plan lounge area – 1 sofa, 2 arm chairs, smart TV, DVD player, CD/radio player.

Left of the lounge area is the dining area with a large table which comfortably seats all.

Straight ahead in the hallway is the carpeted staircase to the second floor

Second Floor:

Double – double bed, built in wardrobe and drawer units, dressing table, velux windows, hairdryer

Twin bedroom (carpark side) – twin beds, built in wardrobe and drawer units,

Bathroom – with bath, shower, WC, washbasin

Double glazed and quiet with no rooms overlooking the high street

Abercastell has its own parking bay in our carpark to the rear of the property
